Philadelphia, PA – Gallery Joe offers a selection of small drawings by gallery artists and others through July. There will be an opening reception on Friday, July 2 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.

Sharon Horvath will be showing at the gallery for the first time. Her drawings combine two unlikely subjects, images of beds and baseball diamonds. Upon looking at these drawings one immediately searches for understanding and relationships. It is remarkable what comes to the fore. Of this series of drawings Barry Schwabsky wrote,” Solitude seems at home here—mind and eye being satisfied for the moment to play their own games to exercise their own leisure.”

The gallery will operate on summer hours in July:
Wednesday and Thursday by appointment
Friday and Saturday 12 – 5:30.

The Gallery will be closed in August.
